I Love Mopping my Kitchen Floor!

Well I finally did it. I started a blog! I can't imagine what would be interesting enough about me to merit being blogged, but thankfully, I'm surrounded by very interesting people in my life. First and most importantly is Tom. I'm sure that he, all by himself, will provide plenty of entertainment and comic relief. He's very unique and a very fun guy to live with. Presently, Tom and I have two children serving missions for our church - one is in Argentina and the other is speaking Spanish in North Carolina. They each are having so many interesting and meaningful experiences as they serve. Our only child that technically lives at home is Josh. He just turned 16 and most everything he does is interesting and exciting. I should know. I'm his biggest fan. It seems like if only 3 people live at my house - and only 3 do - that my kitchen floor would stay cleaner than it does. But my dirty floor just reminds me that many feet walk through our door every day. Some are the feet of our grown children and their spouses (I love them like my own). Our oldest four are married and all live close enough for frequent visits. How lucky for me! I always look forward to seeing them. I am totally, head over heels crazy about all the little feet that belong to our ten grandchildren. They are precious - each and every one and I will take a dirty floor any day of the week just to have them running through my house. And then there are all the countless others; amazing extended family, our sweet neighbors, our church friends, our children's friends, business friends, old friends or new friends, those coming for "Cookie Day" or "Cousin's Chorus", "Mommy Mayhem" or "Chat and Chew". I Thank them all for coming and being a part of our life. They are the reason that I LOVE mopping my kitchen floor.
